The boxing calendar has been dramatically affected over the past calendar year, mainly since the world has been in a global pandemic caused by Covid-19 and therefore major events have been cancelled and the fights that have gone ahead, have been without fans and spectators. Of course, the biggest fight of the year, if the promoters can get it over the line, will see the first undisputed heavyweight championship of the world title fight since we have had 4 recognised world championship organisations. This will see Anthony Joshua take on Tyson Fury for the undisputed title this summer and is probably going to break all PPV records as it pits to be not only the biggest fight in UK boxing history, but in terms of the entire world. Although, we are still waiting for the promoters to confirm the date and the venue, but with the rumours that are flying around, it looks like it is going to be end of July/start of August and in Saudi Arabia but Eddie Hearn has confirmed although the fight will take place at UK prime time so that UK fans will still be able to view.
