Keeping your passwords safe and secure

It seems in our modern day and age we have to have 100 passwords to access everything.  This is not necessarily a bad thing. Do’s and don’ts that one must observe when creating a password.  There are also certain rules that you should observe when trying to keep them secret. The password still remains one of the best and secure ways for maintaining identity and keeping documents and our banking safe.  Should anything fall into the wrong hands you could be looking at a severe problem. To mitigate this there is a very good solution, you could contact Cyber Security Insurance experts https://jmpcyberinsurance.co.uk/what-we-do/cyber-liability-insurance/ to cover any subsequent losses.

The most complicated password unsurprisingly makes the best. Things you should not do is use your date of birth or your home address or any part of your name as this is just playing into the hands of the criminals. One of the best ideas is to use a combination of lower and uppercase letters and numbers, not in sequence and symbols like @ or ?.

Another good idea is to use a phrase and simply use it as an acronym. You can combine the numbers and symbols into this at certain points to break up the password.  For example,  the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog could become TqBF1jOtlD@. It would take a particularly clever mind to be able to break that one. This is just a simple example, though if you can come up with your own phrases that are personal to yourself this will also help.
